The White Rhinoceros' name actually comes from the wide mouth it uses for grazing. Somehow "wide" became "white" but there is nothing "white" about this huge, primordial beast. Its smaller, rarer cousin, the Black Rhinoceros, has a pointy mouth, which is better suited for foraging. Similarly, there is nothing particularly black about the Black Rhino.
